What are Occupations?[]

Before you start a game, you’ll be greeted with spawn locations. Afterwards, you’ll have a page to select occupations and traits. Occupations dictate what traits you have, and some occupations start out with special traits that you’d otherwise have to level up to achieve or can’t be gained throughout the game.

Some occupations will leave a positive amount of points to spend on positive traits. Others may give negative points, meaning you’ll have to select some negative traits to counter the benefits given by the occupation.

Strategies[]

  • Burger Flipper

  • Burglar
    • The Burglar Profession starts off with the ability to be able to hotwire cars from the very moment the player spawns in. Any other profession has to train for that ability. The player can hotwire the first working car they see and beeline to locations that are rich with resources and start off more equipped than the average survivor. This can be useful in multiplayer if you want to escape a crowded town fast.
